Miss Jay was owned and loved by Eve Carr who sadly passed away in 2006. Since then she has been cared for and loved by John Muir her handler while Eve was alive. She is just about retired these days but is often out on a visit to obedience trial to support her younger friends. Jay and John are often found at Castle Hill dog training club to help out those less gifted than she.  Miss Jay has a spectacular working record in Gundog Working Tests. Out of 45 tests she has had 26@1st places  8@2nds and 4@3rds. As Eve used to say, it really is her main love! Now nearly 11 years old she shows little sign of slowing down, just bring on those birds.
